About Three Belles Marina
Because Life is Better on the Water…
Three Belles Marina has been a private, full-service marina on Smith Cove in Niantic, Connecticut since 2006. What began as a vision for what a premium marina experience on the Connecticut shoreline could be has grown, over twenty years, into one of the most trusted and respected marinas in southeastern New England.
We are a certified Clean Marina — a designation we have held since 2010. We have generated 100% of our own electricity from solar since 2018. We are fully sold out through 2026 across all storage categories: 150 wet slips, 70 inside valet rack, 30 outside valet rack, 30 dry land trailer spaces, and active moorings in Smith Cove. The marina is private. The service is personal. The setting is extraordinary. Rising directly behind the marina is the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve — 457 acres of ancient coastal forest, the last undeveloped mile of the Connecticut coastline.
Smith Cove is one of the most protected and beautiful anchorages on Long Island Sound. This is not an incidental address. It is the address that defines what Three Belles is. Our members are our priority — always. The Dockmaster and staff know them by name, know their boats, and take care of them first. That is the Three Belles promise, and it is the reason our waiting list grows every year.
